When you allow convicted criminals back on the streets without
paying their debt to society, you reduce the effect of prison as a
deterrent. The result is an increase in Crime and the Victimization
of Americans.
Cable TV, Air Conditioning, Weight Rooms, Sports, Arts and Crafts
should be reduced if not eliminated. Prison time reads more like a
vacation get away instead of a punishment. Reduce or eliminate the
perks. Instead focus on Education, Job Training, or Hard
Labor. We spend Tens of thousands of Tax payers money, we
should get something for it. Public Safety should mean
something.
Americans are being re-victimized by the early release of
convicted Felons. In Ca. 12 hours after release a Felon Attempted to
RAPE a young lady in her office.
