Civil Rights

 I believe that we are each created equal with individual talents, skills and Gifts.

That we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights that amounts these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

I believe that regardless of race, creed, religion, political affiliation or sex people should be able to work in a field of their choosing.

I believe that the Best person should get the job every time.

I believe the Constitutional rights guaranteed in the First Amendment.

 

Reasoning:

God created all men equal, further verified in the Bill of Rights

That discrimination is bad for America and although we have come far we have further to go. With the election of President Obama, the Glass ceiling has been shattered for everyone.  There is no limit to what a Willing person can achieve. The Greatness of this country is not found in Washington D.C. it's found in our people who are freedom loving and motivated to work hard.

We can only succeed as a Nation if we have the best person for the job, doing it.  If we allow nepotism to control companies and governments than we are not getting the best available service or product.  Companies should be allowed to control who they hire and how much they are willing to spend on salaries and benefits.  Competition drives the process and if you cannot compete then get additional training, education,  or start your own company.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Freedom of Religion
Each of us choose a Religion to follow according to our individual belief. That the Government or others cannot interfere with the worship of their choosing. The separation of Church and State shown above clearly calls that there will not be a "STATE" sponsored Church. Not that you can't have Religion in the "STATE".

Freedom of Speech
I believe that all citizens deserve to have their opinions heard, regardless of the subject.  That doesn't mean everyone has to agree, but we should at least show respect and listen.

Freedom of the Press
We look to the Press to be un-Biased and only report the Who, What, Where, When and How. Sadly we no longer have a Free Press, the reporters cannot write about important issues, like Illegal Immigration or Real Government Corruption, Back Room Deals, or anything that is not Politically Correct. They are regulated by the owners to report Drivel about Celebrities and Crime.  Meanwhile the Tax Payers are being Fleeced of their hard earned money.

Peaceably to Assemble
It's occurring more and more, people gathered together to support or oppose political positions are being harassed and targeted by our Government. Each City has special ordinances and paperwork, approval committees that Infringe on our Civil Liberties. Heavy handed police TASER at the ready to shock people into submission.  We need to take control of our cities and police depts. and return them to a Protect and Serve agency.

Petition the Government
We have Right to petition our Government and Elected officials. But sadly those petitions are falling on Deaf Ears. 65% of Americans don't support this Health Care Hostile Takeover by our Federal Government, but they keep working on it.

It's time to send someone to congress that has nothing to lose and isn't part of the problem.
